the biggest risk of your life... Time is the
only wealth we're given." -- Barbara Sher

security, and reach out to the risk of living
with both arms. One has to court doubt and
darkness as the cost of knowing." -- Morris L.

the world in a healthy way. We can choose to see

rather than seeing the world as dangerous with
only moments of safety." -- Deepak Chopra

fulfillment." -- Henry Miller

We are
creatures of habit, of patterns. Habits make
our lives comfortable -- they help us feel
safe. They can also become traps, where our
routines cause us to lose sight of the
infinite options available to us.
What aspects of your life have become
routine? Where might you risk a little to
explore new avenues that may bring rewards?
It takes effort to change. What do you most
want to change in your life? Make a list of
what you can do to start the process. Try
journaling, perhaps. Read books. Take a
course. Find a mentor. Seek out support.
How will you commit time to make it happen?
When are you going to start? Your life is
passing quickly!
Connect with the edge, the unknown, of your
experience. Allow this pull towards
unexplored territory to take you to new
dimensions of yourself. Allow life to touch
you in new ways for this is how we truly
live life. Do some outrageous dreaming! Then
do something completely different today.
"A great block to nourishment of the soul is
distrust. We don't trust ourselves, so we
stay rooted in the easy and convenient. We
eliminate as much pain as we can from our
lives and end up painted into a corner we
call safety. Safety is the most unsafe
spiritual path you can take. Safety keeps
you numb and dead. People are caught by
surprise when it is time to die. They have
allowed themselves to live so little."
-- Stephen Levine
