I so love the ‘ah-ha!’ moments in my life! I got one recently that I want to share with you.

I’m so blessed to be more in touch with my purpose than ever before. These days, I’m so excited about what I’m doing and I wanted to know how to do it better. So I asked, “What do I need to be or do to serve people more effectively?”

Intuitively, I turned to Lynn Andrew’s Power Deck. She talks of the Mystery. Her message is that we can be taught about power and about how to be strong in spirit and competent in life. “But to describe how a miracle happens or how you come to be a powerful magician is to try to explain the mystery. You can talk around the secrets of power, but if you describe them directly you lose that power and you destroy the mystery. Welcome the mystery, and allow the miracle of existence to emerge from the darkness and transform you.”

Of course. We can learn the steps to become mature personalities and to open to soul. We are wise to trust and follow our inspiration. But then, as they say, we need to ‘let go to let God.’

The joy is in the journey, in giving our best and appreciating each moment without expectation of receiving something in return. We’re not here to learn to control life but to surrender to the mystery, to open to the infinite possibilities that life offers.

Soul is always fresh, always new, so we lose essence if we attempt to manipulate specific outcomes, no matter how honourable our intentions.

It’s my ego that wants to see my work ‘make a difference.’ My soul is content to play in the energies of expression.

As always, I’m being invited to be less fearful, more playful.
