“There is only one journey. Going inside yourself.” — Rainer Maria Rilke
Ever wonder why we are here?
We believe all beings exist in physical form to express unique aspects of the creative life force. Everything arises from the one Spirit, Creator, God, Source, whatever name you prefer – the one behind the many.
However, we humans have forgotten our divine origin. And so we begin our life exploring who we are as individuals. This is the Path of Personality where we develop our ego and independence. Being aware of form only, we focus on understanding how we are different from all other beings. We feel separate from the rest of the world, and this brings us fear and pain.
At some point, we’ve learned enough of independence. We begin to yearn for connection and more meaning. Our focus shifts from how we are different to how we are the same. The personality expands its worldview and begins to travel the Path of Soul.
And so our life journey essentially involves two levels:
- The Path of Personality– we build personal skills and independence as we learn what makes us unique.
- The Path of Soul– we experience interdependence through meaningful connections to all of life.
For us, the spiritual journey unfolds as we bring higher consciousness to the details of our physical world. Rather than search for enlightenment as anescapefrom our ego and mundane lives, we access soulthroughour personality in our daily routine.
We’re here to know ourselves as divine human beings and to fully and authentically express our true nature. This is our life’s journey.
“If you wish to travel far and fast, travel light. Take off all your envies, jealousies, unforgiveness, selfishness, and fears.” — Glenn Clark
